Dru Fess

Since January 2020, Dru has been working on his MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. This has brought him to North Counselling and Psychotherapy as a practicum student. He is passionate about helping individuals, couples and families. He uses cognitive behavioural, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches to counselling and has a growing interest in working with couples and families.  

Before pursuing his MA in Counselling Psychology, Dru earned a Bachelor of Theology from Masters College and Seminary and a Master of Theological Studies from McMaster Divinity College. Dru loves sports, good coffee, reading, long-distance running and spending time with his family.

Dru is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and is working towards registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
